Decoder Health is a minority woman-owned practice, with a mission of providing ABA services to children with autism in their natural environment with a sociocultural-focused approach. We provide services in the Northern Virginia area. Our Board-Certified Behavioral Analysts (BCBAs) design intervention strategies that are built around a family's daily routines and activities.

Our services can be integrated in children’s day to day routine, allowing us to interact and provide services wherever children and families typically find themselves, whether it be their daycare, home playground, etc. DECODER Health provides early intervention support and services to children and our services can be integrated with the child’s speech, physical, and occupational therapy. The collaboration provides a holistic approach that will enhance the child’s future.

Summary: This is an excellent part-time (25-30 hours/week), per diem opportunity for BCBAs. If you are currently employed and looking to expand your impact, while gaining additional income, this is the opportunity for you.

Responsibilities:

•       Supervision of in-home ABA programs

•       Supervision and training of RBT and case managers

•       Parent training and home-based consultation

•       Conducting skill-based and functional behavioral assessments

•       Developing intervention plans and monitoring client progress

•       Maintaining accurate documentation of billable tasks that meet the requirements of funders.

•       Obtaining authorizations and reauthorizations

What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like:

•       Develop individualized treatment plans for each client and communicate goals and progress updates with Behavior Technicians

•       Conduct and score initial and ongoing assessments using appropriate assessment tools.

•       Train and supervise a caseload of Behavior Technicians and clients.

•       Collaborate with other clinicians including Occupational Therapists and Speech Language Pathologists to coordinate the therapy of shared clients.

•       Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children in-center as necessary.

•       Attend team meetings as scheduled.

•       Provide supervision for BCBA/BCaBA candidates.

•       Develop parent training goals and lead parent training meetings.

Minimum Education or Related Experience:

•       BCBA or BCBA-D certification

•       1 year of related experience.

•       Experience providing supervision and training to therapists.

•       Experience providing parent training.

•       Experience conducting functional and skill-based assessments.

•       Experience identifying goals for in-home programs for individuals with autism and their family.

Requirements:

•       Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education or related field required

•       BCBA Certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board required

•       Experience with clinical operations

•       Licensed to practice ABA therapy in the state of Virginia required (or willingness to obtain license upon hire)

•       Must submit to a federal and state background check.

•       Credentialed as a provider with private payers e.g. Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS), United Healthcare etc.

Potential Salary: salary range is between $39/hour- $44/hour.
